Faith is not a subject

Sometimes our Children's Ministry volunteers and parents ask why we use the Hands On Bible curriculum in the cBc classes and the Early Childhood Classes, or why our KidsChurch programs are structured the way they are. This blog post by Thom Schultz, one of expert in Faith-based education, wrote an excellent blog post, quicky explaining why Faith is not a subject!

People describe the Christian faith as a “personal relationship with Jesus.” But in the church, how have we gone about encouraging and developing that relationship with Christ? Sadly, our church services, classes and programs rarely pursue that relationship like, well, like a real relationship.
