Every week in the media we hear of some story of a child being hurt or damaged. I never really know how to process stories like this one. I feel like standing in the street and screaming "somebody do something!" Today a father stopped his vehicle on the top of the Westgate bridge and threw his four year old girl off the bridge. She dropped 58 metres and was was swept downstream where paramedics worked to revive her. She later died in hospital.
It reminds you of this calling to help protect and assist children. There are so many families who need our help in our cities, are we doing everything we can?
